Awww. :o) Okay Papa Don (my Dad was called Papa by his family.) ;o)
Your son Ron. You know that he is a wonderful soul. Always ready, willing, able and there for ya with a kind word, a loving act. A while back, a blogger pal Sue underwent surgery for a brain tumor. Ron had an idea to produce an audio get well "card" for Sue from blogger pals around the globe ... Ron took the initiative to put together the music, the publicity to other bloggers, and the elbow grease to make it happen. As events unfolded, my microphone broke and I could not record a greeting to Sue for the card. I asked Ron if he would mind recording a greeting from me in his own voice.
Well, he went a step further. And then some! He allowed me to record my voice on his cell phone recording message thingy. From there, he took my voice, made a sound file, and mixed it into the audio greeting card.
And we've never met in real time! He did that. Ronzi. So that I could make a voice greeting for Sue.
You know ... that may seem like a small instance of great kindness. To me ... at the time ... it meant the world to be part of that for Sue. I hope some day, in some way, to be able to thank Ron properly. But, in the meantime, know how well your son has taken your love, care, and teachings - and become such a compassionate man.
